What Fruitful covers for HR
- Shifts and attendance. Create shifts per region/timezone, assign in bulk, get late/early/absent detection automatically.
- Leave management. Define leave types per company, approval workflows, balances tracked continuously.
- Audit log. Every role assignment, permission change, and user lifecycle action is recorded with actor + target + exact diff. Read-only, export to CSV.
- Consent records. Every employee's consent acknowledgement is stored with a timestamp — if an inspector ever asks "did employees know they were being tracked?", you have the answer.
- Data retention per plan. Activity data is retained for the window you chose; auto-deletion is automatic after that.
The HR admin role
There's a built-in hr_admin organization role that gets attendance, leave, and HR reports — without screen monitoring access. This is deliberate: HR doesn't usually need to see individual screenshots, and scoping access this way protects both employees and the HR team.
Compliance posture
Transparent-by-default monitoring with consent records, an append-only audit log, two-factor sign-in (enforceable for admins), and encrypted-at-rest credentials. We do not currently hold a SOC 2 attestation and run in a single AWS region; SSO, SCIM, and customer-selected data residency are on the roadmap, not shipped.
