Screenshots on interval

Captured at the cadence your admin sets (3 / 5 / 10 min). Stored encrypted, auto-deleted after the retention window, with employees able to see every shot they've generated.

Active app & URL tracking

What app was in focus, what URL (if a browser), for how long. Enough to answer "what's the team working on" without ever reading content.

Idle detection

Silent detection of away-from-desk time using keyboard and mouse frequency. Never keylogged — we count events, never what's typed.

Manual time entries

Employees log meetings, calls, or off-desk work directly from the HUD — with descriptions and optional project tags. Managers approve in one click.

Auto clock-out

Machine shuts down or suspends without clocking out? The agent reconciles on next launch, flags it for review, and keeps attendance honest.

Frequently asked

Does the agent slow down my computer?

No. Memory usage stays under 50MB and CPU under 1% when idle. Screenshots are resized and compressed before upload; the capture itself is native and takes ~30ms.

What if an employee doesn't want to be monitored?

They see exactly what's tracked on first launch, and must explicitly consent before any ingest begins. Employees can review the full capture policy from Settings anytime.

Can admins see more than what's shown here?

No. The capture list in Settings is authoritative. Anything not on it — keystrokes, clipboard, microphone, camera — is literally impossible because the agent doesn't implement those APIs.

What happens if the machine shuts down while clocked in?

The agent reconciles on next launch — detects the un-closed session, back-dates the clock-out to the last heartbeat, and flags the row for manager review. No one gets overcharged; no one loses honest hours.

Is my data encrypted?

Every request is TLS-encrypted in transit. Authentication tokens are stored in the OS keychain (macOS Keychain, Windows DPAPI, Linux libsecret). Screenshots sit in private S3 with time-limited pre-signed URLs.

Can employees export or view their own data?

Yes. Every employee has a dashboard at /my showing their hourly timeline, screenshots, and app usage. They can export their data in CSV or PDF.
