Cancellation Policy

How to cancel

Cancellation is entirely self-service. Open Billing in your dashboard and click Cancel subscription. You will see a confirmation with the exact date your access ends.

What cancellation does

Your subscription is flagged to end at the close of the current billing period. You keep full access until that date, and you are not charged again. No refund or prorated credit is issued for the unused remainder of the period — this is standard across SaaS.

Changing your mind

If you cancel and then change your mind before the end date, open the billing page and click Resume subscription. This reverses the cancellation in one click, with no payment or re-checkout — you already paid through the end of the period.

What happens to your data

  • Monitoring data (screenshots, activity logs) is retained for 90 days after cancellation and then deleted, consistent with our retention policy.
  • Invoices and billing history are retained for 7 years for tax and accounting compliance.
  • User accounts and login access are disabled immediately after the end date. Admins can export CSVs of attendance, time entries, and reports before that date if desired.

Reactivating later

You can re-subscribe at any time from the logged-out billing link we email 7 days after cancellation. Your company record, employees, and historical data are preserved during the retention window — you pick up where you left off.

Exceptions

Enterprise annual contracts have separate cancellation terms spelled out in your MSA. If unsure, reach out to your account manager or email support@getfruitful.io.
